Description

Delicious and fluffy whole wheat banana pancakes perfect for breakfast or brunch.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the whole wheat flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. In another bowl, combine the mashed bananas, milk, egg, and melted butter or oil.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  5. Pour 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake and cook until bubbles form on the surface.
  6. Flip and cook until golden brown, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.

Notes
