A flavorful Thai salad featuring grilled beef, fresh herbs, and a spicy dressing.
Ingredients

- 1 pound beef (sirloin or flank steak)
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 2 teaspoons chili flakes
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro leaves
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1 tomato, diced
Instructions
- Preheat grill to high heat.
- Season beef with fish sauce and chili flakes.
- Grill beef for 5-7 minutes on each side for medium-rare.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- In a bowl, combine lime juice, sugar, and remaining fish sauce.
- Toss the sliced beef with the dressing.
- Add onion, mint, cilantro, cucumber, and tomato; mix well.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Can substitute beef with chicken or tofu for a different flavor.
- Adjust the level of chili flakes to taste.
- Serve with sticky rice for a complete meal.
