Description

This creamy Loaded Mashed Potato Casserole is the ultimate comfort food, packed with flavor and ready to impress.


Ingredients

  • 3 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large pot, boil the potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes.
  3. Drain and mash the potatoes in a large bowl.
  4. Add milk, sour cream, melted butter, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the mashed potatoes and mix well.
  5. Fold in half of the cheddar cheese, bacon, and green onions.
  6. Transfer the mixture to a greased baking dish.
  7. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes until heated through and cheese is bubbly.
