Description

This delicious Keto Smothered Chicken is an easy low-carb dinner recipe that the whole family will love!


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
  3. Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in paprika and thyme.
  5. Add the chicken back to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for approximately 15 minutes.
  6. If using, sprinkle with shredded cheese and cover until melted.
  7. Serve hot.
