- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken breasts and cook until browned on both sides.
- Remove chicken and set aside. In the same skillet, add onion and garlic, sauté until soft.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, then stir in paprika and thyme.
- Add the chicken back to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for approximately 15 minutes.
- If using, sprinkle with shredded cheese and cover until melted.
- Serve hot.
