Description

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup tortellini (zucchini or keto-friendly)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, brown the Italian sausage over medium heat.
  2. Add the onion and garlic; sauté until translucent.
  3. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream and add the spinach.
  5. Add the tortellini and Italian seasoning; cook until the tortellini is tender.
