Ingredients

  • 3 pounds beef short ribs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary

Instructions

  1. Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
  2. Turn the Instant Pot to the sauté setting and heat the olive oil.
  3. Brown the short ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
  4. Add onions and garlic to the pot, sauté until soft.
  5. Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
  6. Return the short ribs to the pot and secure the lid.
  7. Cook on high pressure for 45 minutes.
  8. Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  9. Serve hot.
