- 3 pounds beef short ribs
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
Instructions
- Season the beef short ribs with salt and pepper.
- Turn the Instant Pot to the sauté setting and heat the olive oil.
- Brown the short ribs on all sides, then remove and set aside.
- Add onions and garlic to the pot, sauté until soft.
- Stir in the beef broth, tomato paste, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and rosemary.
- Return the short ribs to the pot and secure the lid.
- Cook on high pressure for 45 minutes.
- Let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Serve hot.

- For best results, sear the short ribs well before pressure cooking them.
