Description

A rich and creamy pasta dish loaded with broccoli and cheddar cheese, perfect for a comforting meal.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for about 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat.
  4. Add the cheese slowly, stirring until melted and smooth.
  5. Stir in the pasta and broccoli until well combined and heated through.
  6. Serve warm, topped with extra cheese if desired.

Notes

  • This dish can easily be made vegetarian by using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
