Ingredients

- 8 ounces pasta of choice
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and blanch the broccoli florets for about 2 minutes. Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, combine heavy cream, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Heat over medium heat.
- Add the cheese slowly, stirring until melted and smooth.
- Stir in the pasta and broccoli until well combined and heated through.
- Serve warm, topped with extra cheese if desired.
Notes
- This dish can easily be made vegetarian by using vegetable broth instead of chicken broth.
- For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the sauce.
