- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 cups potatoes, sliced
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat, then drain excess fat.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, sliced potatoes, cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour.
- Remove foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated before baking.
- Feel free to add other vegetables like carrots or green beans for extra nutrition.
