- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper to taste
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté until fragrant.
- Add the cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften.
- Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they are pink and opaque.
- Stir in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat and stir in the fresh basil and Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately with crusty bread or pasta.
Notes
