Description

A tangy and sweet BBQ sauce made with orange marmalade for a unique twist.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon corn starch (optional, for thickening)

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine orange marmalade, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
  2. Heat over medium heat, stirring until marmalade is melted and ingredients are well combined.
  3. If a thicker sauce is desired, mix corn starch with a bit of water to create a slurry and add to the sauce, stirring continuously until thickened.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool before using as a marinade or dipping sauce.

  • This sauce works great as a marinade for chicken or pork.
