Description

A rich and hearty minced meat sauce perfect for pasta dishes.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
  3. Stir in ground beef, cook until browned.
  4. Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, and basil.
  5. Season with salt and pepper, simmer for 20 minutes.
  6. Serve over your choice of pasta.
