Ingredients

- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add onion and garlic, sauté until translucent.
- Stir in ground beef, cook until browned.
- Add diced tomatoes, tomato paste, oregano, and basil.
- Season with salt and pepper, simmer for 20 minutes.
- Serve over your choice of pasta.
