Description

A delicious low-carb take on the classic French toast using keto-friendly croissants.


Ingredients

  • 4 keto croissants
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons erythritol or preferred sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon butter for cooking
  • 1/4 cup sugar-free syrup (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium heat and melt butter.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together eggs, almond milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and sweetener.
  3. Dip each croissant halves in the egg mixture until soaked.
  4. Cook croissants in skillet until browned on both sides.
