- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, diced
- 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup beef broth
Instructions
- Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to sauté mode. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
- Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
- Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
- Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for about 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
- Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.
Notes
- For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- This recipe can also be made with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
