Description

This hearty Instant Pot Chili is a perfect easy meal packed with flavors and nutrients.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 can (15 ounces) kidney beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) black beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 can (15 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Turn on the Instant Pot and set it to sauté mode. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  2. Add the onion, garlic, and bell pepper, and sauté until softened.
  3. Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  4. Add the kidney beans, black beans, diced tomatoes, and beef broth.
  5. Close the lid and set the valve to sealing. Cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
  6. Once done, allow the pressure to release naturally for about 10 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with your choice of toppings.

Notes

  • For a spicier chili, add diced jalapeños or a pinch of cayenne pepper.
  • This recipe can also be made with turkey or chicken for a lighter option.
