- 1 pound ground beef
- 3 cups rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups marinara sauce
- 1 cup ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cook the rigatoni pasta according to package instructions; drain.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat; drain excess fat.
- Add marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet; stir to combine.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked pasta, ricotta cheese, and half of the mozzarella cheese.
- Add the beef mixture to the pasta mixture; stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to a baking dish; top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- This dish can be made a day ahead and stored in the fridge before baking.
- For extra flavor, add chopped onions or bell peppers while browning the beef.
