Description

A delicious and creamy tomato gnocchi recipe that is quick and easy to make.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound gnocchi
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup diced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (14 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the gnocchi according to the package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. Add the crushed tomatoes, and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  4. Stir in the heavy cream, basil, and oregano, and cook for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked gnocchi and Parmesan cheese to the sauce, and stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan if desired.
