Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup long-grain white rice
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat.
  2. Drain excess fat, then add garlic powder, onion powder, and chili powder.
  3. Stir in rice, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
