Description

A delicious and spicy Thai salad made with minced pork, fresh herbs and a tangy dressing.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound minced pork
  • 2 tablespoons fish sauce
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1 tablespoon roasted rice powder
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 1/2 cup cilantro leaves
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon chili flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cucumber, sliced (for serving)
  • 1 head of lettuce (for serving)

Instructions

  1. In a pan over medium heat, cook the minced pork until browned and fully cooked.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cooked pork with fish sauce, lime juice, and roasted rice powder.
  3. Add the mint, cilantro, red onion, and chili flakes. Mix well.
  4. Adjust seasoning to taste and let it sit for a few minutes.
  5. Serve the laab moo in lettuce cups with cucumber on the side.

Notes

  • For a spicier version, add more chili flakes.
